Silvina Martínez launched SPANISHWORKS after two decades of journalism and public relations in Latin America and the United States.

A multicultural media and outreach specialist, Silvina is known for her long-established relationships and her work to help clients gain trust and credibility in Hispanic and other ethnic communities.

SPANISHWORKS builds on her rich international media and communications experience to overcome linguistic and cultural barriers and ensure Latino outreach efforts don’t miss the target and messages don’t get lost in translation.

Silvina has written in both English and Spanish throughout her career – first as a reporter for the third largest newspaper in Argentina for ten years, and later for The Sacramento Bee in California. She was an international correspondent and wrote for La Opinión of Los Angeles, EFE news agency and Agence France Press.

Silvina Martínez has developed and implemented communication strategies for global companies expanding their Latino advocacy and outreach efforts, and has written and translated award-winning publications for bilingual public awareness campaigns throughout California.

She holds a degree in Journalism from the Colegio Universitario de Periodismo in Argentina, and was certified by the American Translators Association in the United States.
